A Different Kind of Hiring Process
Cloud Notions is a small, senior-level Salesforce consulting team that works on complex projects requiring a mix of business analysis, configuration, development, integration, and problem-solving.
Our hiring process is by invitation and referral only. We do not accept cold applications, unsolicited résumés, recruiter submissions, or direct employment inquiries. Candidates must be introduced by someone within our professional network.
We are less interested in finding someone who already knows everything than in finding someone who is intelligent, hardworking, technically capable, and able to learn quickly.
What We Look For
Our consultants need to rapidly understand new client business processes, unfamiliar Salesforce orgs, and complex technical requirements. Strong candidates should be able to:
- Learn new systems and business processes quickly
- Analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions
- Work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Write or understand code and other advanced Salesforce automation
- Use AI-enabled development tools to accelerate coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Communicate clearly with clients about options, tradeoffs, and recommendations
- Remain professional and productive when requirements change or normal interpersonal friction occurs
A demonstrated history of high achievement is important. That may come from professional experience, academics, software development, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, data analysis, or another technically demanding field.
Salesforce Experience
Candidates must have at least one Salesforce certification or be prepared to earn one within their first 30 days with the team.
Particularly valuable Salesforce experience includes:
- Salesforce Health Cloud
- Salesforce Field Service
- Apex and LWC development
- Platform Developer II certification
We recognize that candidates combining that level of technical expertise with the other qualities we value are relatively rare. Of course, certifications matter, but they are not a substitute for demonstrated ability and sound judgment.
How We Work
Cloud Notions is a remote-first, senior consulting team. Team members can work from anywhere they are productive, provided they are consistently available for client and team meetings during U.S. business hours.
Because some of our clients have government, contractual, or regulatory restrictions prohibiting offshore resources, candidates must be based in the United States.
We offer substantial independence and expect substantial accountability in return. Our team members are expected to manage their work, communicate clearly, and deliver what they commit to deliver.
How We Hire
Our hiring process typically begins with a paid subcontract or freelance period working on real client projects.
We believe actual work tells us far more than an interview. Before making a full-time commitment, we want to know that a candidate can learn quickly, communicate well, exercise good judgment, produce quality work, and ultimately deliver the goods.
Candidates who demonstrate those qualities may then be invited to join the team permanently.
